Hose connection to barrel

The first barrel in this system has a hose connection. The white fitting is a  1" "Tee" with female pipe threads.  A "male hose thread to male pipe thread" (MHT to MPT) brass connector is screwed into the left side of the Tee and has a hose shut off valve (the black piece) screwed onto it.. On the right side a "male pipe thread by barbed" 1" fitting has vinyl tubing hose clamped over the barb.
