- Biography
- Designing lifestyle changes for individuals, families and businesses has never been so critical and necessary. Given that global climate change will soon impact water availability, helping others to maximize their water appreciation has been a strong focus of SustainabilityFulcrum, an ecologically bound company designing greywater reuse systems, rainwater catchment, green roofs and walls, sustainable landscape redesign, biointensive food production and urban apiculture. By rounding out lifestyle choices and offering integrated design solutions to some of the 'basic' infrastructures in life, people can begin to live lighter on the planet because of a better balance in their everyday. SustainabilityFulcrum can redesign domestic and business infrastructure to bring down environmental impact and raise up the quality of life. Robert MacKimmie will design greywater solutions which minimize your loss of a valuable resource while maximizing one of the most precious resources so critical to all life on the planet: water.
Robert MacKimmie is a Greywater Systems Designer and Installer accredited through Greywater Action, an ARCSA accredited Rainwater Professional (ARCSA-AP), a Green Roofs Professional (GRP) accredited through Green Roofs for Healthy Cities , an accredited GreenPlumber through GreenPlumbers USA, has been through the Sustainable Landscape Design program at Sonoma State University, sets up Sustainable Mini-Farm Biointensive food gardens for individuals after studying with Jon Jeavons at Ecology Action's Research Garden, and has been a remarkable city apiarist for 14 years serving as an educator and mentor.
